MAN TRIUMPH ANT

By Chris Wayan, 1990

not enough feeler room
as an ant in the farm;
the antcestors crowd you out
ant gossips cage you in.

So you crawl to the city
to be free,
but its not the way it
spoze to be.

"a single person
in a cage
puts all heaven
in a rage"

said william blank;
but still I say
move somewhere
taller,ant.

A LATER NOTE

One year later, I moved from America to San Francisco. Even bad poetry can sometimes be, uh, moving.
