NURSES AND CARETAKING
Dreams of nursing and nurses. They epitomize caretaking--a touchy issue for me, since I was raised to take care of others, compulsively nice... an unpaid nurse. And it conflicts with my calling as a writer, artist, dreamer, and shaman, all of which often demand that you go off alone, ignore others' needs, and generally make others uncomfortable.
For others, dream nurses may have other meanings--being pleasantly cared for, being bossed around, or recuperation. Being a nurse may mean nourishing others, or being underpaid, or short on time, or caught between competing demands... Context is all.
