Flower Conversations

Dreamed 2004/1/12 by Larry Vigon

I was in bed reading a book. Norman was sitting in a chair to my left. There was a light in the ceiling and two worms hung from the light by some kind of thread. One worm lowered itself down close to my face and I took a swing at it with the book I was reading, but the worm quickly moved up towards the light to avoid my swing. This happened again and the third time it happened Norman said "You know I've had some great conversations with those creatures."

Then I got out of bed and cupped one of the worms in my hands and gently shook the worm.

As I shook the worm it turned into a large white flower; then the flower flew around the room and fell apart over the bed.

Next I cupped the other worm in my hands, gently shook it and it turned into a large red flower, flew around the room and fell apart over the bed.

When the flowers fell apart they let off an intoxicating gas and if you were asleep and breathed in this gas you could have conversations with the flowers.

Darkness. Red flowerpetals. A faint face. Dream painting by Larry Vigon.
