TAROT: THE MAGE

34K. Tarot card, 3x5", 1978-1981 by Chris Wayan

The Mage is about uniting and balancing all four aspects of living--pentacles/earth (the body and its senses), cups/water (the heart and its feelings), swords/air (the mind and its thoughts), and wands/fire (the soul and its intuitive and creative promptings: intuition). Jung said most people let one of these dominate; the Mage shuttles between them till they all cooperate in working toward a goal.

Not easy.

But the reward is big:

You run your life.

Your life stops running you.
