ALPHA RALPHA BOULEVARD

14" x 17" acrylic watercolor of a dream, by Chris Wayan 1997

Just a path arching up into the sky beyond the clouds. It's an image that recurs in my dreams, though it's different in every one. I think I first encountered it as a child in Cordwainer Smith's classic story ALPHA RALPHA BOULEVARD.
