Digital comics telling two linked dreams (Babezilla 1990/10/4, Chunks 1991/9/4) by Chris Wayan
Babezilla, a color comic showing a giant telekinetic baby (whom means well, despite dirty diapers) panicking 12-step people in San Francisco. Chunks! I'm a sharkbit girl at the beach; a surgeon offers to replace my missing chunks, but they've largely regrown. No room! I've healed on my own.

And after a certain point, after enough therapy and twelve-step stuff and pulling out embedded shark-teeth... your lost chunks, too, have probably regrown. You heal yourself so gradually, it's sometimes hard to realize just how far you've come.
