PICNIC IN THE RUINS

A spin-off from one of the vividest dreams in my life, Perissa. This isn't Perissa herself, who was blonde, but clearly a girl of the same species, and probably from the same Italian beach town Perissa lived in, with old Roman ruins.

The picture is from a rough pencil sketch, tweaked and tinted in Photoshop. This is silly... though I quite like this centaur-girl as a character and wish I were picnicking with her right now... as an artist struggling to master effects, my favorite element is really just that misted-up, plastic-wrapped salad bowl full of berries! Tunnel vision, eh?
