PINE FOG

A misty day in San Francisco's Presidio, where migrant pegasii graze on pine-tips and shadow-witches nest...

It started as an improv--testing how much I could do with a single pine-branch, cloned and flipped and rotated and mutated.

To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee,
One clover, and a bee,
And revery.
The revery alone will do,
If bees are few.

Pines receding into fog--a shadowy flying witch rises toward a winged horse. In the distance, a small TV flaps by.
Revery alone will do if little flying portable TVs with rabbit-ear antennas are few, too. It's true they're hard to spot. Protective coloration, and all that.
