Digital comic, 2 pages, 39 and 33K, 640 x 680 tall, dreamed 1990/10/1 by Chris Wayan
My sexist training is sure persistent. I don't like over-valuing women's rights and thoughts, or devaluing men's, but feminist brainwashing during one's childhood is just as tenacious as patriarchy. The little demons in this piece are always with me...
(Is the fine print below hard to read? Here's an enlarged version. The files aren't any bigger; the pages are just displayed double-size. I didn't set out to torture your eyes--when I drew this in 1990, screens were lower-resolution, so pixels--and digital images--looked jaggier, but also LARGER.)
The little demons in this piece are always with me. But NOT always victorious. You CAN make progress, just standing still.
Because Chris on the Escalator never lies.
