Dreams of being naked in public, or having one's secrets stripped bare; of seeing others naked, of peeping and voyeurism, and also of sexual exhibitionism, flashing, streaking, stripping, and similar showing off...

As the above list suggests, dream nudity and even exhibitionism can have multiple meanings.

Sexuality and flirtation is common, of course.
But vulnerability is equally common--think of how many times your own nakedness in dreams makes you feel vulnerable--even ashamed, scared, in hiding, an instant refugee. But vulnerability isn't always about fear. It can be a statement of trust.
Honesty's a common meaning, at least in my dreams. Naked people have nothing left to hide. If you dream you're nude and feel comfortable with it (or defiant) it may well mean you're being emotionally honest even if others disapprove.
A meaning I wasn't even consciously aware of till I started writing this intro: connectedness with nature. Often when I'm naked, rather than feeling embarrassed, I feel linked to the earth through my bare skin. Grounded--ready to work magic!
