Dreams of giraffes. Or of related long-necked critters--a hybrid earthworm-giraffe, a vicuña woman, eleraffish businessmen.

Do dream giraffes mean anything consistent? Besides long necks, that is? Well... they're the most amiable of all mammals simply because few predators (except humans) are dumb enough to attack someone five or six meters tall. Reckless lions soon learn those hooves pack a wallop and that head can be used like a golf club--with the lion as the ball! So giraffes have few enemies; and that builds trust.

Oh--Lyr is listed below because it imagines three big-brained giraffish species, two of them people: Elaffes and Tauraffes.

RELATED TOPICS: deer - horses - unicorns - cows, goats, sheep - heads and necks - trust - animal people - dream creatures in general - See also the full INDEX OF SUBJECTS.
