Dreams from 1972. Georges Perec was finishing his dream diary; Nabokov hadn't started his. Ann Faraday published her first book, Dream Power; future dream researcher Gayle Delaney had her first dream-breakthrough. Me? I was still a social pariah in a suburban community college, where most students did not have mystical, shamanic or predictive dreams. At least not without taking acid. I kept quiet and did the work--writing down dreams I dared not share.
