Nature Spirits

Dreams of nature spirits or local gods; in Greek terminology, nymphs. They include the spirits of trees (dryads), rocks and mountains (oreads), pools and streams (naiads), fields, pastures, and fertility (fauns). Every culture has analogies. Also here are less rooted critters like shaman's helpers and tutelary spirits.

RELATED TOPICS: other kinds of spirits with their own headings: gods and goddessess - souls (free spirits of living, individual creatures) - ghosts (trapped spirits of the dead, or psychic residues) - see also Paganism, Wicca, and Goddess worship - shamanic dreams - trees - fauns and satyrs - mer-folk - two dreams of vesta - See also the full INDEX OF SUBJECTS.
