The World Dream Bank:
Jenny Badger Sultan

Jenny has been a teacher and role model for me, both as dreamer and artist, for over a decade now. She's in it for the long haul; notice how her dreams re-introduce themes and variations. She makes me feel like a pop musician writing fluff. My flashy dreams are fun, but they're just bright little self-contained flowers on a bush. But most real growth is subtler, vegetative, not drawing attention to itself. The dark matter of dreams. That's what Jenny works with--as Jung did.

Flashy dreams can cast a shadow. Dreamers who don't have dream-flowers may worry they're not making real progress. These dreams will reassure you. They're working dreams--uncomfortable, anxious, unresolved, but inching you forward.

Creep on, dreamers!

RELATED TOPICS: Jungian dreams - mandalas and other visual symbols - Jenny's husband Henry Sultan also does multidream-paintings, like Celebrate Both - dream-paintings in general - See also the full INDEX OF SUBJECTS.

The World Dream Bank has 1500 dreams and dream images plus 500 other pages on dreamwork and shamanism, creativity, genius, art, surrealism and fantasy. Unless otherwise noted, all material copyright Chris Wayan, 2001-2006.
