SIZE MATTERS

Big and little folks in dreams--giants and dwarves, ogres and hobbits, trolls and lilliputians, basketball players and talkative microbes, hulks and pixies, argumentative stars and quantum-spooks, T. Rex and Toulouse-Lautrec... Sorry. I'm just listing to cover up the fact I haven't a CLUE what such dreams mean. No, more than that. I firmly believe they have no single meaning, and those dream-dictionaries that say big and little characters symbolize childhood, growth, inferiority or maturity are just empty theorizing. Context is all. Some of the characters below couldn't do what they do if they were normal-sized, while others are blocked by their size; and to others, it's irrelevant. Size often matters; but not always in the same way.
